Does he? The rule is in place because of the fact that african-american players outnumber anyone in the NFL. Not because of the vast number of Armenians, Purto Ricans, Japanese or Turks playing in the NFL. That said, I'd be surprised if it mattered if he were Armenian, as I doubt it satisfies the NFL's term of "minority".

I think that is the part that is harmful... Some African-Americans will get interviews for just to satisfy the rule when they were never considered an option. I would hate to go to an interview wondering if I am just a "token" interview or if I have a reall shot at the job. It is unrealistic to think that laws will change someone's heart. If someone did have a racist agenda these laws don't change what they think it just makes them hide it better.

I don't understand why the minority has to be a black person. Is this really the rule? There can't be many Armenians in the NFL for them not to be considered a minority.
