Flacco moved around to make some of those throws. Especially that bomb to jones and the jump ball to boldin.
You mean a run first qb. Try again.
47 strait games a pocket passer wins Superbowl..tired of hearing about new era Qurterback..Carson is the man.I told all of you who would win 2 weeks ago

Fail thread.
Kap did pretty awesom for a rookie with his 300 plus yards for a new era quarterback.
Not sure what the point of this thread is
woah... Flacco had to scramble and throw on the run a lot this game. PLUS, Kaepernick had a pretty good game, not as good as Flacco, but he led his team to the super bowl a played admirably.
I highly doubt Carson would have led that 49ers team to the Super Bowl, let alone actually win it. This season proved that running QBs CAN be successful in the NFL, not the opposite.
With that said, Carson Palmer gives this team the best shot at winning, and should be the starter until we are realistically out of playoff contention, OR until Pryor proves in practice/off-season workouts that he is the better QB.
New era, these kind of QB's have been around for a while and they have there perks but they aren't the sign of a new era, they also have there draw backs, they risk serious injury and eventually get one. The point being made is, the traditional pocket passer is just as capable of winning it all, so the recent coincidental appearance and success of run capable QB's like Kape and Willson and the Redskins new QB aren't a sign from the football gods, that if you don't have a guy like that , you can't win, that's the point of this thread.

Mental aspect of the game takes a large part. Flacco was prepared. He came to play. He's a good one. Mobile, run first, pocket passer, cement foot pocket passer it does not matter. Some are guys that prepare like their life depended on it, and are winners that are clutch performers. Flacco came with more poise, so he won. They both had talent today, but the one more poised and prepared won.
The rookies/young guys that played good this season just happened to be mobile. The guy that was the most poised hoisted the Lombardi.
But we have Carson Palmer. Not Flacco, not Manning, not whoever. Carson Palmer.
Yea..
Steve McNair was 1 yard from winning one
Kaepernick was a missed holding call (Lets be honest...if that happened to the Raiders we'd all be P*SSED)
Kaepernick may have thrown some better passes than Flacco (who was impressive as well)
The Ravens were just the better prepared, better coached team today.
The Kaepernicks, Wilson's, RG3's, Andrew Luck's (he is mobile...unless you mean QBs who run 4.4?) are here to stay..
The Question is...
Is Pryor one of those guys?
In fact a better question since in the OP's eyes "You cant win with a QB who can run"
Is Palmer a guy that can win a Super Bowl?
