Only other moves we would have to do to make it work is also trade for Tim Jennings for the other CB (Or Jonathan Joseph. Either one is adequate), go work a deal for Adrian Peterson and Julio Jones too.

Make sure to upgarde Briseil to Logan Mankins via Free Agency (Get Joe Staley too for LT probably have to wait until the SUper Bowl is over to begin talks)

And that is essentially all we need... Well, outside of Geno Atkins, JJ Watt, Drew Brees and Jerod Mayo.

Do i hear a Palmer for Revis trade coming?? I'd be happy with that.

This is the only trade I'd consider if I were Reggie. Revis is very expensive and it will take a pay-day to keep him after his contract is up next year, so they'd have to be willing to take on Carson's contract. But I wouldn't even say this trade should be a done deal. There is wisdom to building- and paying your best players- in the trenches. We've seen what a bad team with one elite CB looks like, ask Nnamdi. We've also seen a number of teams with serviceable but not unbeatable CBs make a run. Trenches, people, trenches. Get me a hoss over a sprinter any day of the week.

I heard this morning on Mike and Mike that the jets are looking to trade Revis this off-season. I would definitely pull the trigger on that if I was Reggie. He's not coming cheap but he's definitely worth the money.

Hes good but, nope, and also you have to think that Reggie will do exactly what Ted Thompson does and thats just build through the draft and thats it. Big name free agents wont happen very often either, just draft picks and undrafted free agents and small pick ups here and there. Obviously for lots of teams it does work.

That would be a classic Al Davis move - trading away future draft picks for a veteran with a high salary and mileage. Frankly, this type of move MIGHT make sense to a franchise looking for the last piece to the puzzle but for the Raiders who need to completely rebuild their defense it makes zero sense at least to me.

Yep. This worked for the 83 team getting Mike Haynes. Would not work for the 2013 edition......

i think Reggie learned from the right people in Green Bay. build your team threw the draft. then when you only need 1/2 guys to fill the team you grab them in FA.

With a torn ACL he may be available at a lower asking price than most think. Not that I think we could/should land him anyhow.
