He was using us to leverage the Bears oh well. We never had a chance and if we land anybody worth a f*ck we will be lucky. I think the Dennis Allen hire kind of proved that, and Knapp cemented it. Nobody makes those kind of hires, RM must find a diamond in the rough like he tried to in Allen. I don't think the experienced route is going to be much better than Knapp and probably not a fit for our personnel again. Let's hire an unknown who can at least cater to our personnel, especially the OL.

Not only is oak not ideal for coaches but assts have to look at the hc too. If someone like gruden, fisher, Reid, etc with experience were here, they could attract people. But when you have an unproven hc like Allen, their fate lies basically in his hands. He goes, you go. It's a tough business
