New offensive coordinator

So we all can agree that Knapp sucks. We all want a new coordinator but the question is who? Anyone have any thoughts?

I hope we can go the college route and try to find another Tarver who wants a chance to prove themselves in NFL.

anyone that will mold the offense to utilize to the players the Raiders have
not make the players play an offense they aren't fit to play.

Maybe Bill O'Brien if he steps down at Penn State.

I'd love to see Hue back as OC. No chance of it happening but I loved some of the things that he was able to accomplish.

He makes to much $$$ to ever be an NFL OC. If he does it will be as a NFL HC. He has a 9 year contract now with a huge buyout. I think it was 9 million or something like that to even leave. He also makes $1 million more from a Penn State TV and radio show and $350,000 from his deal with Nike, in addition to his salary.....

Why not Tarver himself? If he can help our offense score as many points as he's helped our opponents offenses score points this year, we'll be unstoppable.

Of coaches currently not employed I,d love to see if Brian Billick would be interested in being an OC in the NFL again.That said I highly doubt he,d want the gig.He also has quite an ego if I,m not mistaken,we saw what happened with the last guy like that

The coordinator will be someone that either runs or has run the ZBS. Both Reggie and DA want that offense, and why not it works for many other teams. Colts run a variation of it and thier QB coach has been there for quite a few years, maybe someone to look at. Other than that, I don't really know anyone imparticular. Someone mentioned Tedford, what offense did he run?

Tedford ran a ZBS and has had a slew of great running backs that went on to the NFL

2002: Joe Igber (1,130 yards)
2003: Adimchinobi Echemandu (1,195 yards)
2004: J. J. Arrington (2,018 yards)
2005: Marshawn Lynch (1,246 yards)
2006: Marshawn Lynch (1,356 yards)
2007: Justin Forsett (1,546 yards)
2008: Jahvid Best (1,580 yards)
2010: Shane Vereen (1,167 yards)
2011: Isi Sofele (1,322 yards)

Cal gives crappy athletic scholarships, its amazing he fielded the teams he did. I think he would be a great fit for us. He has produced some great WRs and QBs as well, although of the QBs only Rodgers has had success at the next level.

he actually ran both but they moved to more zone later in his career at Cal.
