Another week, another shoddy game plan from Knapp

2 red zone trips, 2 field goals.

Turnover in field goal range....end up losing yards and getting knocked out of field goal range.

Screen pass gets stuffed....run another screen.

Offensive line keeps getting zero push in the running game....keep running the same running plays.

Sorry but that was an absolutely horrible offensive game plan today. Starting QB goes out so you go pass heavy? Screen passes and stretch runs against a fast, aggressive defense? Pass plays on 3rd and 3 when you're gonna for it on 4th down? Knapp is crap! The defense looked prepared and did a decent job except for some questionable penalties but the offense looked EXACTLY THE SAME AS EVERY OTHER GAME THIS SEASON! If Knapp isn't thrown out after this season, I will not be watching next season. This is guy is complete garbage.

What really irritates me is when we have a great first down then we run some stupid, going nowhere, trick play on 2nd down and lose massive yardage.

I was listening to the game on the radio and Tom Flores and Greg Papa were frustrated as hell with the offensive playcalling of the Raiders.

But I wanted to tell them that according to some Raider Fans Greg Knapp just need the right players for his "system". So.....

I still don't understand how some people on this board can defend Knapp.

The guy just can't cut it as a play caller.

I think the people who are so hell bent on finding reasons to keep Knapp just want continuity because it was something we didn't try during Al's years

Does continuity ALWAYS work?
What if you have a sh*tty coach, do you just keep him cause he's bound to do better next year? Why not cut your losses now rather than suffer for another year.

Knapp sucks

but we have WRs who dont run routes or catch, a RB who goes down on first contact, and Matt leinart at QB, hard to win like that

Of course continuity does not "always work".If a team has incompetent coaching it will always have that, until the coach is replaced. The key to making a team work well is hiring good coaches.
Mark Davis and Mckenzie made some hiring mistakes. No shame in that. But to retain the wrong employees is shameful.

Some people will believe "I will take the job" when we see it!!!!!! Until then no reason to "trip." Why get mad??? There is a ton of guys they can hire that will suck like Knapp, a little bit better than Knapp doesn't mean anything. Continuity so the future will say "I will take the job." That is all that's been said except a FEW said Knapp hasn't had a chance. Tat's much different. Write that mother f*cker Davis a letter instead of making sh*t up. There is NO KNAPP SUPPORTERS!!!! Some people just do not get all emotional and realize he could very well be here. This team hasn't got a dime from me in like 7 years. I know exactly what's going on.

If we hire an OC that's not a major upgrade, we are locked in 2 years with that guy. How can we fire Knapp after one year, and the next guy after one year? He will be here 2 years, a mediocre OC possibly. Knapp can be canned after 2013. We need to let the guy we want to hire dictate what we do. If the guy we want has accepted, we hire him. That guy might be there for the taking after 2013. We are not going to fire the OC after one year for two seasons in a row. SO if we make the move, be careful what you wish for, at least 2 years of bad football. That's a total of 3 bad years in the RM regime. Not going to happen, and if it is not the big upgrade no new OC will be here. That's real football. Should not have hired Knapp, he f*cked us.
