Pryor is not as bad. I can say that with certainty. This coaching staff is just really that stupid and pathetic.
I understood why he was 3rd string last year.
Lockout/No training camp/no pre season/5 week suspension
I get it. He's raw anyway.
But for the last two years he couldnt beat out Boller and Leinart.
Each were DREADFUL in there time on the field.
Either Pryor is as bad or worse.....
Or they dont have a clue on how to use a mobile QB.
Maybe its a little bit of both. But Leinart's need to check down EVERY PLAY was tough to see.

I expect it's a bit of both that he's bad and also not ready. He's probably pretty poor still as a passer and probably not ready to read NFL starting defences. If the staff believed he was actually a better option than Leinart he would have taken more snaps today and I believe that guys like Allen and Knapp have been in the NFL long enough to know if a guy can't play so I'm not going to point the finger at them.
Yeah I'm sure 16 of 32 115yards and an int would be hard to top.
You know who's really bad OP, Knapp and Allen.they are a ****ing joke. Don't need to explain just watch the games this year.
I feel that the coaching staff is more concerned about winning these final meaningless games than testing the waters with an inexperienced qb
If Pryor is not better than what we saw from Lienart today, it is time to cut bait.
The better question is ‘what are the reasons I wouldn’t take this job.’ I mean, I’ll be here…yall won’t eat dinner tonight with all the reasons I have to take this job. Guys, this is where I came from. I’m back home now. I’m back home. - Reggie McKenzie
Regardless of how bad he looks in practice and such he should have played. The season is lost, our starting QB was hurt, it was the perfect time to play him. It also is not likely that Leinart has a better chance of leading us back to a win than Pryor.
Or they're more concerned about playing football than handing over the ball to somebody who doesn't make an impression at all during practice.
Come on people. Did none of you listen to the reports from camp? Pryor did NOT look good. Even. In. Camp.
I'm not a "hater" - I'd love him to be a gem, to step on the field and take charge and run this team to multiple Super Bowls. It ain't happening folks.
Take that pipe dream and smoke it somewhere else. It's time to focus on the harsh reality. We have Palmer and we have nothing. We'll be shopping for a good backup QB in the off season an we'll be moving or cutting Pryor.
