    Um, mulled?

Excuse me here for a moment but before we go jumping to conclusions about Mark I fail to see where he was "mulling" changing Allen, McKenzie or anybody else for that matter. Actually, how I read it is that DESPITE a season much worse then last year he is "maintaining patience". ALSO, it is very important to note that Mark is allowing Reggie to run the football side of things. It would be up to Reggie concerning Allen's fate.

Here is the entire article on the NFL's website...

    VVVVVVVVVVVVVV

It has not been a pretty season for the Oakland Raiders, but owner Mark Davis is maintaining patience.

CBSSports.com's Jason La Canfora cited league sources in reporting that Davis does not intend to fire first-year coach Dennis Allen or first-year general manager Reggie McKenzie but will make moves to fortify the front office during the offseason.

La Canfora reported that Davis is enamored with Ray Anderson, the NFL's vice president of football operations, and sources believe the longtime league executive might jump at the right opportunity. Anderson has Bay Area ties and significant experience working as an agent and at the team level.

The Raiders (4-10) have stumbled on the field, but McKenzie, especially, is well-respected around the NFL. He took over a talent-poor team that was stripped of draft picks in 2012. More time is needed to evaluate the current regime, but adding someone with Anderson's experience might further help an organization that continues to turn the page on the Al Davis era.

You're actually the dumb one, with only about 5 minutes left we had to score a touchdown. If we kick a field goal there then we still have to come back and score a touchdown. A field goal does absolutely no good accept to not have to go for a two point conversion if we score a touchdown. He had to take a chance on that 4th down because with our offense the percentages say its highly unlikely the Raiders get in a position to score a TD again. Especially without Palmer. If you dont understand this then you dont know the game.

Firing RM would set this franchise back another 2 or 3 years plus no competent GM would come here. I'm saying if he fires RM in the next 2 years look for Matt Millen or worse.

al davis picked jamarcus rather than calvin johnson
al davis picked mike huff, darius h-bey and rolando mcclian in first round
al davis picked players as routt and mike mitchel in round 2
trade for seymoor who was finish in new-england
trade for palmer and pay too much to bring him here

he let's a team with no money and no draft pick but if the raiders play bad it's because RM..

    oh my god

we need some ****ing stability and see what RM can do with a first and round 3 pick.

bye bye palmer, carlisle, kelly, seymoor, huff , H-bey and mcclain , keep this money to bring some good players and some fresh blood.
All good points except for the Palmer trade. Al was already gone when that deal went down.

Dont think RM should be on the block but yeah the coaching staff needs a big upgrade from top to bottom. I think keeping DA is as much to do with the financial commitment made to him over a 4 year contract (3million per is insane RM screwed up on that one) as anything. But if DA is smart he would seriously take the opputunity to get rid of the coaches on the O side of the ball. It was a huge mistake to overhual a functioning offence while trying to deal with a dysfunctional defence.

Please tell me you're kidding. If he fired McKenzie after one incomplete season of rebuilding the Raiders would become a complete laughing stock, on and off the field. The pundits out there understand what we are going through and they know it's being done from the ground up. If we start firing people that have been given a partial draft, no cap space, and no talent, we can kiss ever getting any quality people to come here.

Respect would be thrown out the window for this organization and it's owner if he fires Allen or McKenzie.

If you all remember a ****ty Raiders team beat Gruden's Bucks the last game of the year to keep them out of the playoffs. Amazing that was his last year coaching. Everyone says Al Saunders for OC. Wasn't he the OC that went 5 straight weeks without a score in the 4th Q? What other OC's did we turn down to hire Knapp? Please tell me one OC that we interviewed that we decided not to take in favor of Knapp. You guys act like there is a line of great coaches and coordinators begging to get a job at this extremely dysfunctional team that has hardly any talent and no cap room. Name one please.
Dont trash Saunders or Gruden, they both have actual records of accomplishment unlike our present coaching staff who collectively have achived exactly zero in the NFL.

Not if he hired Gruden. They would start taking us serious and say hey the Raiders finally upgraded they're high school coach.

Probably the biggest reason why we won't see much of Pryor. Your job life is dependent on W's. Do you trust that with a 23 year old or a 10 year vet? That's the sad part about it, we won't see how the young kids react in game speed, RM can't make an honest assessment on Pryor. Mark Davis tells Allen this isn't good enough. Gruden coming back. Davis decides to give the football side another year....truth or not, when it's winning over development, this is what you will get. Knapp's the first thing that need to go, Allen seems to understand his job value is dependent on wins, and Knapp is costing him.
