that's for the first drive of the season not the first qtr. Now in the last 4 games that's correct that we only have 3 pts in the first qtr.

After 16 weeks when your entire offense (not just this player or that player but most of them) is still failing to execute on a consistent or hell even basic level, who's accountable?

I agree. I'm not even sure if it was in this thread or some other one, but I just didn't even respond to a couple of posters that were preaching accountability for players. I'm cool with that, but where's the accountability for the coaches?

All you hear is the same tired a$$ excuses about no talent and for some bizarre reason these coaches "deserve" another year.

WTF? Why? What have they done to deserve another year? Funny thing is about the only one that seems to be trying to make something work and actually showing something is Tarver. Our defense showed up today, which kinda blows the whole "we have no talent" theory right up.

Those who were wrong? give me a break. I didn't like the firing of Shell but it had nothing to do with what kind of job he did. IMO it didn't matter who the coach was as long as AD ran things the way he did. So no I wasn't happy about Shell being fired, I wasn't happy about Kiffin being fired, I wasn't happy about Cable being fired, and going back further I wasn't happy about Norv being fired either. Again it isn't that I liked them as HCs it's that I knew nothing was going to change as long as Al ran the show and that the coach didn't matter much. Im hoping that has changed with the new regime but we shall see over time if that's really the case.

The only coach who should of gotten more rope since gruden is cable.. Then again Hue was fine until Davis died then he lost his damn mind.. The other coaches were incompetent and their performance indicated as much.. This Allen guy is starting to piss me off more than Kiffin did.. And that's a tall order.

Really, you can argue X's and O's and strategy all day long, but the way I see it, Knapp's PLAY CALLING is indefensible. If you look back even just this season (and it would be reasonable to look back to last season since we have arguably better receivers and at least equal running capability) this team always does best when it goes for explosive plays. This whole offense under Knapp constantly moves sideways, not forward. We also seem to score more touchdowns from outside the red zone than from within, again, explosive plays. Knapp just doesn't get it. He is the embodiment of the definition of insanity (keep doing the same thing and expecting a different result). Run game today? TERRIBLE. Pass game? Uninspired at best.
