    Gannon to Biletnikoff?

    Just caught a short-story by Marv Albert and Rich Gannon doing the Jags/Dolphins game today.

    Marv was explaining that a "fan" approached Gannon and was asking him like, "Dude, what was it like throwing to Fred Biletnikoff!"

    Gannon went on to add, "He must have had me confused with another Raiders' quarterback like Ken Stabler, or Daryle Lamonica. I think he thought I was George Blanda".

    Alcohol must be involved here somewhere.

    Sounds like most of the Raider 'fans' that post on here. I get astounded about how little of the Raiders these guys know or how they want to change history to suit their opinion.

    Guess I am gettin' old.

    Gannon should have said it was great but I liked throwing to Cliff Branch better just to see the reaction. Or wish I could have thrown to Tim Brown or Jerry Rice....

    it was actually justin blackmon who said it in the meeting with gannon the night before the game. Shows you how much the players know their history.
