I was bored and decided to look up all of the pending free agents that may be available in the offseason at positions of need for our Raiders. I came up with a list of names, and although I wouldn't necessarily like to acquire some of these names, it's not out of the realm of possibility IMO. So here goes. (a ** will be placed beside players I wouldn't mind acquiring)

If Huff leaves Patrick Chung is available. He lost his job after he got hurt. Not sure how good he is but he might be cheap enough.
I remember some of us wanted to draft RT Sebastian Vollmer too.

i think RM will have to look at an o-lineman. If we give briesel one more year to get it right then we still need a RT and either a C or LG. Barnes should be kept as depth IMO but carlisle is too old. Could also go for a good LT and move veldheer to RT.

I was hoping Mark Ingram was a FA this offseason. He doesn't get a fair shake in that offense, in NO. I would take a chance on him, with or without DMac.

Ingram would be an interesting option. He has flashed the capability of being a very good back from time to time. I see New Orleans letting Ivory go and keeping ahold of Ingram tho. They did trade up to draft the guy after all.

Personally I would love to see Reggie go after either Vollmer or Bushrod for o-line help. I would like to see Aqib Talib get a look too.... if Talib gets his head straight he is a VERY good DB.

Wouldn't really want him though, would ask for too much $$$$ for little production.

I don't think Reggie is the type to make a big splash in free agency, plus it would be hard with our limited cash. I think Reggie might pick up some relatively cheap guys that are capable of starting but mainly build through the draft. At least until our cap problems are dealt with.

I agree with our cap situation I dont see us making any big moves in FA.Hopefully we purge some of the trash vets we have and get more picks/cap space.We need to get as many picks as we can to do this the right way IMO

Personally, I want to go with young, hungry guys through the draft, I feel this is what RM will do. Why are we, going to sign free agents when we are still currently in cap hell. We have seen what terrible free agent signings can do (RM signed Brisiel, and has been a disaster), let's go with young, fresh guys who can be coached up (we need a new OL Coach). Guys who will be really good in two- three years. Just my opinion, we are not a player or two away. We are not even a year or two away from being a good team, right now.
