Buddy Nix: Buffalo Bills should trade up for QB in draft - NFL.com
Time to pounce Reggie and fleece the Bills for everything they have.

Bills should take Palmer off the Raiders hands.
As soon as I read this article on NFL.com, I came here to see whether someone had posted about it. If not, I would have started a thread also.
This seems like a deal that could work great for us. In addition, Buffalo has come out now and said they want to trade up, so therefore the power would be with the team trading down.
This could work out but if everything stays the same I'm not sure he will have to trade up. Hopefully Reggie can work something out for their 1st and 2nd. That would leave us around 11th pick plus add a 2nd round pick not bad at all.
Bills aren't satisfied with Ryan Fitzpatrick? I thought the guy was an up and coming QB? Wouldn't mind trading down in the draft with them nonetheless.

Hard work without talent is a shame but talent without hard work is a tragedy!
If they really want to trade up to take their guy, we shouldn't have any problems getting more than their 1st and second rounders. To move from #6 to #2 last year, the Skins gave up the #6 pick, plus 2 additional 1st rounders and 2 additional second rounders. Not saying that we'll be able to get that amount of picks, but if Buffalo really want a QB, we should at least expect the #11 picks, their second rounder, and at least 1 first and 1 second rounder in future years.

We'll see what happens after this week. I'd like to see a win, but if we lose, inside i'll be excited to have behind us the chiefs, cards, bills and maybe even the jets possibly wanting to outbid eachother for whatever QB stands out above the rest this off-season. We all know the media will BLOW up one of these kids hype for their own purpose.
Dont think Jags would go qb yet, do any of you?
Precisely Chewy, just as I was saying in Oakland. This is what Reggie needs to do in order to get some ammo for the draft and build some depth on this team. There are so many holes and this team just needs to obtain ammo. Plus, if he wants Manti, there's a chance he'd be available at #11 with how the draft is starting to shape itself.

Exactly.....waaay too much money for him to be kept by a rebuilder....! And on top of that, what's the first thing that usually a new GM likes to bring in to leave his print....? Exactly again....: a friggin' QB! So,I guess we'll see....
