Its Reggime....
I know this is the first time we move on without AL, but If our GM's name was not Reggie, would everyone still say regime??
Post Al, or what have you, But I have not heard/saw that word more than I do here![]()

Its Reggime....
Per Webster: Regime: mode of rule or management.
The word is appropriate. I don't know if it's used more here. It does kind of go along well with Reggie. Under Al, the term dictatorship would have been more appropriate. Dictatorship: a form of government in which absolute power is concentrated in a dictator or a small clique.
Or maybe it's just a combo word for "Reggie time". I know the term "Reggie lover" has been seen on this forum more than once.
It is not a bad word. Al's tenure was referred to as a regime many times.
You have to get out more! I think I first heard the word as a kid when the talking heads referred to Vietnam. The guys we liked had regimes. The others had amorphous descriptions that did not include Communism and slaughtering innocents. Thanks again, Walter Cronkite, you DB.
i think it is a word that is used most of the time when a new owner/gm takes over. i'm sure you will hear it alot when people ("experts") talk about the browns and jags to this upcoming off season since both of those franchises have new owners and/or new gms
I think it should be called the "Great Silver and Black Enema"!
For all you nerds out there:

I hear tenure alot.. and i have heard this word before.. just seem to see it here alot and was wondering if it was a joke among the members.? or if they use it cause that is what everyone is saying?
just like when everyone said "Chuckles the clown" last year... i thought they was referring to Hue Jackson cause he chuckled like a clown lol
