I would like to add that the only thing that has be consistant the last few yrs has been the players......coincidence that we have sucked, i think not.

We have a few bright spots on the roster but not many, the trash is piling up and needs to be taken out.

All that being said, if Knapp is retained, and comes back next year, I will be unable to support this team until he is gone.

Yeah, I think there are a couple no brainers that most fans of the silver and black won't stand for if not addressed.

1. Rolando McClain - The guy either needs to be dumped or slid down the depth chart. There's no way you're going to convince us that a better option isn't available for a guy that plays 1/3 the snaps of what our other LBs are playing and still is suspect.

2. Gregg Knapp - The offense looks like a Gregg Knapp offense. Again, there are many creative, innovative offensive minded coaches around the NFL and college ranks that would be an immediate upgrade.

3. The ZBS - If we're sticking with it, it better look like a well-oiled machine by next preseason.

4. The secondary - I don't wanna see Michael Huff at CB with a bunch of practice squad rejects rotating in and out of the lineup. Real CBs with real coverage skills that have a real future in the league.

5. Richard Seymour - His time has come to pass. He's not stout or healthy enough to be one of the starting defensive linemen for us anymore. Give one of the youngsters a chance. I don't think you'll see much of a drop off.

There are many more areas that could be addressed but I think these 5 are pretty much no brainers to anyone that follows the team regularly.

Getting rid of everyone isn't going to fix everything. You need someone to be in charge of things.

ah man, dont kick the sleeping bear. You'll get all the old coaches who have a winning record because all of those coaches are dying to come coach here knowing if they dont win in the first couple of years then they will be gone too. Remember all of those coaches begging for this opportunity last off-season? Not to mention most of those coaches want partial if not majority of the GM duties.

1. with respect to tarver, we just gave 55 points to the ravens after giving up 42 points to the buccaneers. stanford's defenses were giving up 30+ points and were consistently smoked. as a stanford fan, i've watched most of the games he coached and it's clear that the defense was horrendous while the offense was spectacular.

you guys who want the status quo are welcome to your opinions, but i just don't see us getting it done with tarver, knapp and company. in my opinion, we need to make a quantum leap to win the super bowl from here and that can only come with the realization that we are awful right now and massive change is required.

Run DMC isnt missed because the ZBS castrated him.
Our QB gets killed every game because he has no running game.
We were embarrassed last saturday...humiliated actually,
To those "geniuses" who say "these are not Allen or Reggie's players" i say shut up. These were not Shells,kiffins,cable's or hue's players either...they were Al's. Plus other coaches never got to pick their assistants and still did not make us look this bad.

You want to can the current coaches but then you say these were not Shells,kiffins,cable's or hue's players either, last time i checked all the coaches you mentioned sucked. If you could pull your head out of your azz for a minute you might see that our players have sucked and continue to suck.

Well if it isnt Reggie's chief peon.

Cable and Hue worked with what they had and got 8 wins without picking any of their coaches or players.

Yet your idol cant make due having picked his coaches and having had Palmer and Run DMC to start the season.

Cable btw didnt even have a starting QB...he had Checkdown Campbell and Bruuuce (best of luck to him) Yet we still got 8 wins anf humiliated the Broncos. Dont give me the divisions were week those years crap...the whole AFC is weak this year. 4 win teams still have a chance this year.
