    2013 Raiders Salary Cap info

Here is the link for this on the 2013 Raiders Salary Cap
Oakland Raiders - Salaries by Year

Updated once again for the now 3rd time I went through and digging around the net some and found some interesting sites to digging into find what might be the more accurate 2013 Salary Cap for us .
Found out about Rule 51 and how this relates to the Salary Cap numbers too and the rookie cap with in the cap implications to the team 2013 cap numbers to
    NFL Salary Cap - FAQ
How the NFL's Rookie Salary Cap Works | Eagles24x7.com

So if I'm reading those right then this puts at
    $129,270.969 the cap number now

That would put us being $8,270,969 over the cap

Well then according to this then now I'm fairly close with my cap number for us and only missing how much of the base salary escalators and incentives will add to it but how much to it is the question now .

*In looking at the Raiders' long-term cap situation, they have fewer than 50 players signed for the 2013 season. Before base-salary escalators and incentives, those players account for $130 million in salary-cap dollars. With the cap expected to remain flat, cuts and restructures are likely. There is no offset language on Branch's contract regarding his 2012 base salary, 2013 roster bonus and most (75 percent) of his 2013 base salary, which should place Branch and his $10.9 million cap number next season on the "restructure candidate" list.
Inside Tyvon Branch's new Oakland Raiders contract - NFL.com

So assuming that the 2013 Salary Cap is going to be a Flat Cap once again this year and round it up to being $121 million for all teams .

Plus with the new CBA that teams can now rollover any unused cap space into the next years cap to . Just have to let the League know before the start of the new year however if they plan to do that .

Just saw this. Are you saying that we'll have $32 mill in cap room next year? I thought we had like 6 mill.

This is just looking at what we look like with the current roster of all the players that are signed for right now for the 2013 season . Now not sure what the some of the contracts that have some additional money in them how this affects the Salary Cap for the season though ?

That this is looking like $32 million for now but actually be less then this as out of the money here is going to go to the drafted players from Reggie for this 2013 draft class . That also the reduction from this from the players that he release will shrink this number down as we will see some that have a big chunk of cap hit to this that Reggie will be looking to get out of their contract much like he did of the Routt,Wimbley, and Boss deals this past season will do so again this year too .

In Spotrac premium they show the total 2013 cap hit for the team and each player and it is $116 million for only 32 players.... with a number of starters' contracts expired (Bartell, Spencer, Wheeler, Carlisle, Barnes, Shaugnessey, Meyers) and a number of other contributors' contracts expired (Lechler, Bryant, Hagan, Giordano, Goodson, Hanson, Lee, Mitchell).

Where it gets more complex is figuring out how much future money is actually guaranteed on the big contracts for McClain, Seymour, Kelly, Palmer, Huff, DHB etc.

I think they still have a lot of work to do.

Shane is a free agent after this season . Unless he gives us a big discount we see him elsewhere next year .

Yeah that is the only thing that Spotrac gets a little vague on the guaranteed money but that also could be because that is all changes on the player being released before June 1st or not for the future guarantees . So could be more if they are released after June 1st then what is if they do it before then too .

    2013 Raiders Salary Cap info

Gotta include Wheeler somewhere he keeps playing like he is and stays healthy he will deserve a decent pay day
My next door neighbor is a Raider fan my 2 neighbors across from me are Raider fans. A Lion fan down the street hung up a Detriot Lions flag outside his house a week ago.
My neighbors and I hung up Raider Flags today and now it seems like the Lions fan took his down, huh I wonder why he did that?

Well this was on the players that are right now scheduled to be with us for 2013 season .
Now some of the UFA I'm sure Reggie will bring a couple of them back. As well as release some players that we will be hit with the cap penalties on them to . But will be worth it to get out of their contracts too .

Is it correctly understood that if we cut Seymour, Kelly, DHB and Mcclain, we'll save approx. 25 mill. in base salary and only take a cap hit of 3,5 mill (combined value of their bonusses) ??

If that's the case I'd make that happen like yesterday and who knows maybe this is McKenzies plan all along.

We need to keep DHB IMO. But he shouldn't be making a whole lot either. Middle of the road pay IMO.

When we cut these guys their bonuses that we did restructures this year for are about 10x the number you quoted. I would say cutting McClain and Seymour will cost us about 20 Million against the cap. Kelly accounts for another 8 million and DHB another 2.
