Yeah, we're not firing on all cylinders yet, but there is definitely cause for concern. After all, preseason is at least partly for personnel evaluations, and I'm feeling too good about depth at RB. TE and WR are also a concern, especially without Moore.
Most concerning is Palmer. Of course, everyone insists Palmer is perfectly suited to meet the physical demands of this system, e.g., rolling out more, and executing naked bootlegs off play-action. But, I always felt that was mostly wishful thinking. I hope Knapp and D.A. will use this time to evaluate what Palmer can and cannot do, and they will adjust accordingly.
So, I agree: There's no cause for panic. We're not going to magically click. People forget that preseason games come after only a couple of weeks of camp. This is a new offense with a zone blocking scheme. Our guys need a chance to gel.
