cryptic Tweet, great.
Just saying.Aaron Curry @AaronCurry51
Big thanks to Reggie McKenzie and Dennis Allen![]()
cryptic Tweet, great.
Really doubt it's anything. We're not only horrible at LB, but we're also very thin. Not to mention Curry was clearly our best LB last year and loves being an Oakland Raider.
Hmm?
Yesterday, there was an anonymous tweet that suggested Curry was on the cutting block.
Which led to my specualtion that perhaps his "injury" is more significant that had been first reported.
Perhaps he's thankful that he's not being cut ... not just yet, anyway.
For those that have been following along, Curry is my current favorite Raider - displays a great wanna-win attitude on the field, and has literally taken a pay cut to stay here.
I hope all is well with him. If he's not able to start the very first game, I say more is wrong here than right.

Man, I hope he doesn't get cut! Wonder how serious the injury is?
What injury does or did he have?

Really liked that dudes motor and attitude. Hope everythings good
The Raiders have one of the worst LB corps in the AFC based on past production (not on paper). Curry's bad knee means Burris is projected as the starter and realistically, it would be a minor miracle if the plays well given the level of competition he played against in college and how one-dimensional he was. Love the draft pick, but starting in the NFL in a new defensive scheme does not bode well. Our LB corps has been weak for over a decade and this is not helping.
Maybe they like what Burris has brought to the table and have an eye on Curry's big pay rise next year. Plus don't we still owe a pick depending on his playing time, albeit a low one?
Love his attitude and his love for the Raiders one of the few that loves playing for this team. His injury is lasting longer then I think anyone would have imagined. He is missing valuable practice time right now and it's going to a rookie who soaking it all up. Wish him the best and hope he stays with the Raiders.
Im sure if he was released that he would say THANK YOU to the Raiders organization, not just Reggie and Allen.
