More fuel for the fire? DMC isn't even in the top 10 RBs on Madden 13.

Taking a peek at the top 10 RBs in 'Madden NFL 13' - NFL.com

I dunno how they can possibly justify that when they put in some guys who are overcoming some serious injuries. How can they not include the RB who led the league in rushing before he got hurt last year?

While this is pretty meaningless to most of us, I bet it lights an even bigger fire under DMC this year. He's going to have CBs running away from him instead of trying to make the tackle by week 3 or 4.

he's probably going to be super injury prone in this years game...Might be why he's so low

It's Madden bro, not a big deal. Plus he can never stay healthy, so what are they supposed to say? "He's #1 even though he only plays 6-10 games per year."

They'll show him the love when/if he stays healthy and does what we all know he can do.

If they are factoring in health how can they be including Peterson and Charles after their injuries?

And some of you seem to be taking this far more seriously than I intended. I said in my OP that it's not that big a deal. It's just something that might light even more of a fire under DMC.

not a big deal...btw during the season they update the rosters online every week...so if he plays well like last season his rating will go up every week...im guessing after we play the san diego his rating will go up like 2-3 levels...

And if he was on the cover we would be more concerned about him getting hurt right? It's a freaking game I was passing for 600 yards a game and running for 150 with Pryor on last years game. Is that realistic, I guess yes if you base your NFL abilities on Madden ratings.

OP. i see your point. jamaal charles is higher then mcfadden. that is ridiculous. DMC is faster stronger, but charles may be quicker laterally. alot of people think charles is better then mcfadden too. they are close but mcfadden power puts him over charles IMO. They are the same back one with power.

I was VERY surprized at this also,when I didnt see him for awhile I just knew he was gonna be top 5.... I was like WTF! I cant wait for the game,im still playing the 12'..

ever since madden went next gen the game has been trash, the engine is trash, the animation speeds doesnt match the speed overall gameplay, the collision detection garbage, you can't individually take control of players to impact the game like on the d line, and on top of all that the game doesn't have any charisma.
Still people will buy that shiny trash so they can get away with making it
