Thanks frf.. Streater seems like a really big pick-up... We are looking like we will have five young, solid recievers, all capable of stepping up and performing well.

Far cry from the not too distant days of Alvis Whitted, Johnnie Morant, Tim Dwight, and Doug Gabriel lol

Streater and Criner the next Rice/Brown combo?

Thing with these two is that they're both 6"3 with huge wingspans that can win the jump balls.

I hope he pans out along with Criner. We could use all the depth we can get, especially with how fragile our receiver sets were last season playing without Ford and Moore.

He's tall, but he's a little on the lighter side for his height. I don't know of any top receivers currently in the NFL who are 6'2" or taller but weigh fewer than 200 pounds. This would worry me a bit, but I found out that he put up 225 18 times, which is absolutely superb for any wide receiver. Strength is not an issue.

Also, his listed 10 yard 40 split (1.60) doesn't match his vertical leap (37.5) and broad jump (11'1"). The latter two numbers suggest he's very explosive, but the 10 yard split indicates a lack of explosion for his position. I'm thinking it's a technique issue that led to his poor split. For reference, DHB, Ford, Moore, Criner, Marcel Reece, McFadden and even Murphy all have better 10 yard splits even though some of them have inferior leaping numbers. Brandon Myers' split was 1.62.

Not to mention if both Streater and Criner turn out to be special, we can all probably rest assured that Reggie knows what he is doing in talent scouting. That in itself is priceless.
