Awesome man, glad you got to meet Mr. Flores, he's a really nice guy![]()
Thats right..I was leaving the hotel and saw him in the dining room right in front of the hotel. I got a fookin picture with him. I interrupted his conversation with hall of fame volunteers and the lady snapped a photo of us. He said something to me while we was lookin at the camera. I had no idea what he said. I was so excited. I also met Willie Brown at the hotel and Dave Casper at the museum. Good damn times.. had a blast at the museum. Mr Cowboy, Bob Lilly told me a story of Jim Brown..said he is the best ever. I think Tom was lil surprised I recognized him b/c I wasnt wearin anything Raiders. It was too hot and wore a basketball jersey and my car a/c is broke.
EDIT: I saw Tom on tv durin the induction...so cool. I didnt bother to ask for his autograph b/c I already have it.

I understand Flores is a nice guy and indeed, he is an important part of Raider history as player and coach. But, he is just awful as a radio analyst and I am hoping the new regime acknowledges this and replaces him as soon as possible. He stammers, states the obvious, and doesn't provide any in-depth help to the listener. Check him out this season with Greg Papa and really listen -- he is awful. Just saying...
I disagree, he catches a lot of Greg's mistakes, and picks up what the officials are calling faster and more completely than most anyone on TV does. I often flip between radio and TV during the game, and Tom usually has controversial situations figured out before anyone else.
OK, I will listen for that aspect of his work, but he delivery is painful for me to listen to. And, I don't think he says much about adjustments are working or not working whether on defense or offense, other than saying something like, "running up the middle is not working."
