One of my favorite Raiders in a short amount of time. I had real high hopes for him this year. Hope we heals quick and well!

Ayso is a .sig genius!!
Curry is a class act. Respect.
Awesome. Hope he has a monster year.
Always love to see passion for the game and for the team from our guys. I'd take a passionate role player over a star who's only in it for the paycheck any day.
Found this snippet in Steve Corkran's blog on Aaron Curry:
Got to love the enthusiasm he is showing.Curry said he suffered his knee injury during an offseason workout and that he exacerbated the injury by trying to be a “tough guy” and play through the pain.
Now, he is heeding the advice of team athletic trainers and waiting until his knee is sound enough to resume practicing. In the interim, he is spending his time walking around the field, mentoring younger players and assuming a coaching role.
“I’m the best coach on the field,” Curry said. “Guys can feel comfortable to come to me to ask questions, which requires me to do all my homework on the defense, especially at my position. I can coach everything about linebackers in this defense.
“So, I’m just taking pride right now. I’m trying to outcoach coach (Jason) Tarver, I’m trying to outcoach coach (Johnnie)Holland on our position. Being a player, players will be more comfortable approaching another player with questions because they don’t have to worry about being evaluated.”
Give Curry an A for finding a way to contribute, even though he isn’t able to suit up and play right now. It’s not uncommon for injured players to shut it down and show up again when they’re healthy.

Our day off but still gonna watch some film to perfect my craft so i can play on sundays #RaiderNation
What a great attitude!
Curry was such a steal for us last year with that 7th round pick.
Hell yeah he was. When he was drafted he was considered by some to be the best overall player in the draft. I don't know what went wrong with him in Seattle but from day 1 with us the guy's been great to have on the team--one of the very few bright spots on D last season.
My current favorite Raider.
It started with his surprising play on the field - knocked out the OT from the Chargers - scooped up the loose ball and scored against the Lions - amongst others.
The clincher being him taking a pay cut to remain a Raider. He's openly expressed his desire to go out a Raider. I've yet to see any exact details, but Yahoo Sports speculated Aaron agreed to a reduction in what's owed him by a couple of million dollars.
Like I said, my current favorite Raider.
