3rd quote I've read today about things being more physically demanding this year. Players will say they love that until it really starts to hurt. Some will still love it then, some won't. Lets keep the ones who still love it at the end of the year.

Teams that cave in the 4th and give up 5 ypc are usually lacking conditioning. This team has been physically soft for far too long.

It will be really interesting to see how many practices Seymour is excused from this year.

This won't go in to the season but it is a great way to see who wants to be a Raider.

You are also assuming conditioning is why teams lag in the 4th quarter and that is a major generalization in terms of why teams lose.

I dont see how this hurts.

I loved this interview; Kelly has always had a great attitude, even through all the harder years. One of my favourite veterans by far.

I like Kelly he is a funny guy. I love his interviews. Hiss video interviews are hard to understand sometimes but you can tell he is a no BS kind of guy. I like that and like what he said about how the team is coming along too.

Would have loved to see that interview on video. Tommy Kelly is a unique dude and has a great way of explaining things. I love listening to him.

Kelly is awesome. I really hope he can take his game to a new level and prove he is worth the money he gets paid if not I hope they can restructure to keep him here. I could see myself sitting around having a few with him bullsh!tting about things other than football. He seems to like boxing a lot that video on SBReport is good too. He seems like a humble guy but also someone you don't want to piss off either. He's country as hell and I love it. Some people might think he's not to smart or slow but he doesn't seem that way I think he is just misunderstood because of the down south swag lol.

Anyway I wish they would do more interviews with him I love his view on things. For him to do whatever it takes to win if it's a new coach a new scheme or whatever says a lot about his character. You can tell he wants to win. He's not like guys like Hanesworth who wanted to get paid and bitch and cry about not being in a scheme he wants to be in or guys holding out or a cancer in the locker room and I'd bet you ask any Raider past or present that played with Kelly they'd tell you he is a hell of a team mate. I hope he stays and retires as a Raider

Unless he and Kelly take a massive pay cut next year they won't be here.

Both Seymour and Kelly will be playing for their Raiders career this year as tying $15M+ on your starting two DT whilst giving up over 5 yards a carry is not going to happen going forward.

That's what I'm saying Son these guys are grossly over paid considering how weak our run defense has been.

We also can't have All Pro players at every position. The defense needs to work as a whole. While I don't blame those two solely for our run D problems, I will agree they get paid too much. It will take Reggie a few years to clean this all up.
