I look forward to watching him play. The 3rd stringer always gets some significant PT in the preseason. Thinking about going to Lions game on the 23rd and TP and Taiwan Jones are two reasons why. Curious about TP and excited about Jones. And some new guys on defense to check out

hes rough and not confident as of yet. He missed all of training camp last year and didn't get any real play time so he is basically in his rookie year. Give him 3-4 years before your final judgement on him. He has the talent to succeed he just needs coaching and practice.

wasn't Tom Brady a fourth stringer for a while??

    Facts:

Pryor was a 3rd rounder, so he is a low risk- high reward draft pick

He will sit all this season and learn from vets (Palmer, Leinart)

Pryor has not started a SINGLE game and already people want to crucify him.

Lets wait until this kid has 10 or more starts befor we pass judgement.

If he starts any games in the next 2 -3 years that will be impressive and show he has progressed quite a bit, let alone start 10 games. But your right definitely should give him some time. The guy is a rookie in my mind.

No one's expecting him to compete for the starting job or even the #2 spot. So don't sweat it, learn the playbook, and throw the damn ball like you mean it.
its just going to take a long time to develop this guy. most 3rd string guys dont last in the league or even get a shot. pryor may never develop his arm to NFL standards. some QB's just have a knack for throwing on target, where as Pryors has a knack for the bootleg. im willing to keep him around based on his pay but if he doesnt have a handle on this offense in year 3 we have to look elsewhere. and thats 2 more years ahead. once the season starts i doubt hes gonna be taking snaps to be game ready so the development will take time. im more excited about Leinart, he knows the system and is on target. that can win games.

That's my point Luca the man has not thrown one pass in a NFL game and people are throwing him under the bus. Why?
