Back to our discussion, I heard that Wiz was complaining there's a rooster in the hen house.

I thought he was overheard saying 'what? the inmates aren't running the asylum? I'm outta this whacked out place'.

Timing is really bad - whatever the reasons may be. Hopefully it will not impact training camp in any adverse way and that the installation of the new blocking system will be seamless.

These are the too biggest things I take out of the article.

Interesting, oh well...any factual news out there as to why he left?

saying it was due to personal reasons and that Wiz would continue to assist the Raiders as an ambassador...what ever that really means.

Glad to see that Big Wiz is going to be assuming a role of an ambassador on the team & he can still be used in game-day situations when needed. It would be a shame if we lost such a Raider Great, having been on the sidelines since the late 80s, altogether. I think it's kind of nice being able to get involved in your nephew's legacy with the Raiders, too - I'm sure Little Wiz appreciated seeing him every day.

Also, interesting that the Raiders have decided not to fill the position & just go ahead with Pollack at the helm..

As " ambassador" I hope that means he goes to the opposing side line before every game, gives the head coach the finger, and calls all the opposing players wieners!
