Do you really think Pryor would be a better QB for us just because his forty time?
im sure u havent either since knapp was a QB coach in houston...not an OC

come on dont act like you guys know what knapp is installing for our offense this year..its 2012 so unless you have a playbook i doubt you have any idea what we will be running or how well it will fit our players..the only thing we can go off is media reports of what the players say...our starting QB seems to love it but apparently the fans say it will suck??at least wait to see some preseason games before you go jumping off the bridge...hell i even waited till preseason game 4 to decide bres would be our demise last year...and before someone brings up knapps last stint here as "evidence" of what he is just remember we couldnt see his real playcalling or entire playbook..our QB had less accuracy than ray charles..and its hard to talk to your QB on the sidelines while hes popping skittles..not to mention he thought the playbook was a cheese burger and ended up eating half of it

Yes, that was my point, he was the QB coach and saw first hand what Schaub did in the offense, unless of course Knapp went blind since his days in Atlanta or is a certifiable idiot wouldn't you think he would mold things to more Palmer's style than Vicks?

I guess in your world Knapp wasn't the QB coach for the Texans and hasn't been in offensive meetings with them for the last two years, or didn't know the playbook and scheme good enough to teach it to the QBs on the team?

I remember people wanting Gruden fired after his second 8-8 season. And if someone posted a bleacher report article as part of their argument against you then you would be calling that a bunch of crock because it was a bleacher report article. Sorry but I will take the opinion of RM and DA and a whole bunch of other NFL coaches and GMs who think Knapp is a good coach over some fans who right the bleacher report.

And we have never seen Knapp's offense here because it was Kiffin's offense we ran last time he was here and Knapp only called plays for a short while AFTER Kiffin was fired.

Pryor is the only person saying he's moving up the depth chart.

Routt is a better player then either of the guys we have back there now, so it's fair to question the DB situation.

If someone actually watched the Raiders defense play, they question the play of Rolando and probably say something about Huff (in his new role). Those are the critical positions.

KC is getting healthy and has added some nice pieces (I hate that they got the Cle RB to back up Charles).

SD I think you can argue might be worse since they are trying to replace V. Jack with Meachem and or that ex Den Wr (cant think of his name at the moment). As well as losing Tolbert.

With us we havent made any fancy splashes in FA (Im not complaining as I like what we have done, but from a media perspective). We got rid of our so called best CB and best pass rusher (we as fans know the truth but to the outside world that looks bad).

I agree with you that we are being overlooked and they are being over hyped but I see the reasoning behind it. And at least most of the analysts I see are saying this division including the Raiders is wide open and could go any number of ways. But then they are forced to make a judgement (its their job) so they look at the off season moves and go with Den and KC or SD over us.
Maybe so but the basis of the claims was that we had not done anything recently when the rivals haven't either.

Many are also overlooking the additions we made mid season last year in Palmer & Curry that came from this years draft.

The fact that the media thinks we regressed in our CB situation cuts right to the heart of the lack of credibility in their claims IMO.

You really think Routt is better than both Bartell and Spencer?

    Are you serious?

The receivers can’t catch. The quarterback, who was a good enough passer under the previous regime, can’t throw. And surely the Falcons’ high-profile owner is beginning to wonder why all this high-falutin’ talent — Pro Bowl quarterback, Pro Bowl running back, Pro Bowl tight end, three wide receivers who were No. 1 picks — is availing his franchise so little.

lol@ those who said "lets see what knapp can do with some talent"

I had a dream last night that we got absolutely blown out on the Monday night opener. It was very detailed; the coaches were all confused and clueless, Palmer was yelling at the OC, and the D just gave up.

Woke up with knots in my stomach because of it.

In reality, I think we will surprise a lot of critics.
