Good background info on Underwood...
Ex-Hamilton, UC star back in NFL
Kinda pulling for this guy...“When Reggie called my agent, it was like, ‘Wow, this is bananas, and I love it,’ ” Underwood said. “Silver and black, that’s what it is.”
He said the Raiders are moving him from cornerback to free safety, and Underwood believes he’s got a good shot to make the team. Training camp begins in two weeks.
Being away from the game last season was difficult for him. Underwood moved to California in December and focused on lower-body training “because I know it’s more important to be able to run than anything.
“I’m super-duper focused this year,” he added. “I realize that football is an honor and a blessing. I just knew the next time I got an opportunity, I was going to take off and not look back.”
