It's hard not to feel a little burn with the relaxed attendance numbers the commissioners office put in place this season. We spent years dealing with blackouts while nothing changed and now that attendance is down for some other teams they of course, relax the rules. I'm not a huge conspiracy theory guy but it seems like one of those "suck it" Raiders rules. I hope we keep it up and continue to pack the house this year. It's also nice to see our fans get some good press.

I don't think Al Davis would have partcipated in new black out policy. Mr. Davis never bought back anyhow. Not to mention it wouldn't have mattered, the Raiders were well below 85 capacity, sometimes it was prob closer to 50%. Trust me.

I had season tix during our worst season ever, 2006. I don't think I ever saw around 50% capacity. It was always greater than that if memory serves.

But of course we weren't selling out, who wants to show up for the beatings we were taking?

I wasnt in Ca during 06 season, but some games in 08 and 09there were more birds than fans. None of that matters anyhow, real money is the boxes, which team wasnt filling either.
