The Oakland Raiders are certainly coming together this offseason with the new management in place and everything is beginning to click. The veterans know it and are excited about putting it into practice on the field come fall.
Just recently, Raiders' veteran defensive leader Richard Seymour expressed on Sirius XM NFL Radio to former Raiders quarterback and current radio host Rich Gannon, that new head coach Dennis Allen has the “it factor”
Fox Sports Adam Schein, tweeted: Seymour said “Some coaches just have the ‘it factor’ and Dennis Allen has it. I can’t stress enough about everyone being on the same page.”
The Raiders have already started to work on the upcoming season, meeting during OTA’s and Minicamp. Now it’s just about making it all come together through training camp and into the season.
The team wants to make a statement this season, not only to the critics, but to the entire NFL. The Raiders have true goals with a blend of a talent, youth and wily veteran experience on the roster that should allow them to turn the corner behind the right coaching leadership.
Having a head coach like Allen is the start of something special and the Raider veterans understand that and are buying in to it.

"Al Davis thought all owners were dilettantes with a new toy. He said to me many times through the years that owners are often the problem with their franchises, that too many of them think they can run things when they cannot, and the teams that succeed are the ones where the owner hires the best people he can and turns the game over to them."
that is so refreshing to read. I can't wait to see what this team does under DA. We might not get into the post season this year but I am sure we will continue to build in the right direction and be serious contendors soon. I am stoked!![]()
Don't let what you can't do, stop you from doing what you can do!
If Reggie has faith in Allen I'll follow suit but at the end of the day the players need to execute. The talk is great and all but it's all empty if the execution doesn't follow.
My stomach turns thinking of Knapp being our OC... not too fond of the zone blocking for DMC.... our run game was legit without it .... if it ain't broke don't fix it when it comes to the run game.... besides that I think our D is gonna surprise everyone .... goin back n looking at the way the donks D was last yr n knowing that's what we r going to have gets me pretty damn excited ..... 10-6 with a wild card spot for us .... at least that's wat I'm praying for... screw all the analysts on the donks nuts becuz they have peyton ... a have a good enough all around team IMO .... vote al Saunders for OC
Can we get Simon Cowell to give us a second opinion ?

We ARE the NFLs Trading Bitch !!
TD Raiders!!!! Wait, there is a flag, Holding Oakland. "This one's coming back".
He needs to have the IT to erase those.
I hope its true.It seems for years we hear the same things.People will be accountable for penalties and we are weeding out the bad eggs, the players are saying its a whole different atmosphere/attitude,everyone is on the same page. This time I think it might actually be happening.I will believe it when I see it though
Love what I'm hearing...
These guys crack me up with this buying in bullsh!t, your getting paid to play football. Do what the coaches tell you to do. *uck buying in, do your *&^%$#@ job!
Word, talk is cheap do it on the field then talk.
That's what I'm saying, everytime we get a new HC some "veteran" starts talking about how things are going to change then the season starts and we suck again. Stop talking and start playing Raider Football!

Practice?
Yes, they are getting paid to play the game, but you and I both know the game today isn't what it was 40 years ago... money has changed the game to the point of being absurd. Players are spoiled, act is though there's a sense of entitlement and primma donnas... so if they buy into what a coach is trying to implement, I see it as a positive.

I am anxious to see this come together. I hope we can have DA as HC for many years to come. This organization needs stability.
If there is one thing I trust Seymour's word on, it's his opinion of head coaches. Hope he isn't just talking because if DA pans out I think we will return to glory within a few years.
