Are those names supposed to be scary?
Yes Bowe is someone that can hurt you, but those other guys don't have me shaking in my boots or anything.

    except for maybe this part

Last year, as defensive coordinator in Denver, Allen ran a 4-3 defense on 38 percent of snaps and a 3-3-5 nickel package 44 percent of the time

    In a word - "change".

Ive got your back on this one.

He needs to be reminded of what Fitz said about Bartell.

Yet were supposed to fear Meacham?

    Bartell is a huge upgrade.

Bartell isn't either. Fitz > all of those guys, and Fitz complimented Bartell.

In fairness, Bartell is 30, broke his neck last year in the season opener, and didn't play the rest of the year.

Will he come back good as ever? Will the injury and age be too much to overcome? will it be somewhere in between? These things are pretty hard to tell. Every team has questions like this about some of their players, take for example the bears. The thing is that we have so many questions on this team. Its like playing poker when you count the outs in a hand. Over the long run, they really add up.

WR a weakness really? I know they are a little unproven, but in no way in hell is that position a weakness for us. I'll take our receivers over just about any other teams receivers.

From what i read about his injury he will have no more chance to injure it again than anybody else, should be good to go.
Probably better than coming back from a knee problem, that would make you worry about him losing speed.
As long as he is over it mentally, his body should be fresh.

We don't have any more than our division rivals.

Fair enough, and don't want to argue with you (actually enjoy not doing so). I don't see any of the teams in this division going anywhere in the near future. Guess if Peyton is just incredible, then maybe the donks, but he has probably worse injury history, out for a year, and a new team for the first time. My guess is that we pull up a bit short of the others, but don't really care. The prize to me is a team that goes to the playoffs frequently and gets somewhere when they go.

I actually liked Bartell when I saw the rams play through the years, hes one of those guys that had the potential to be really good, but injuries, inconsistantcy in the org/coaching staff can do that to a player

    That's it?

That's your argument to support your claims?

    Wow!

    How compelling and insightful.

My "claims" in this thread were that we have a lot of question marks on this team, and that the chances are they will catch up with us and leave us with a poor record. You pointed out that others in our division have questions too. I agreed with you, none of the teams in our division are very strong in my opinion. I think we have probably more questions than others, but let it slide and tried to be nice to you.

I don't think your purpose here is to talk football, I think its to argue.

Lets get to the point. You think we are going to do a lot better next year than I. Lets settle it in a good sporting way with a bet. Here goes:

If we win 10 or more next year, I'll say I'm a stupid **** who knows nothing about football. If we win 6 or less, you say you are a blowhard azzhole whose own mother hates the sight of him.

    Deal?
