Can't paste a link, since I'm on my iPhone, but on NFL.com he tweeted that he was at the event and glad to hook up with old teammates. I'm just glad for this new regime, that contributors like Gannon are welcomed and encouraged to come back.
R.I.P. Stacey Toran, Marquise Cooper
Gannon said the whole building should be blown up, even if hes frustrated you can't say that...esp about a place that you forged your name, there's nothing overblown about that statement.
In any case I hope fans realise "(though most won't) there were philisophical differences between the 2 but that doesn't mean the respect wasn't there
There are many rumors out there but one that caught my attention has to do with Marcus and the wives of other players. I don't know if there's any truth to it but if so you can imagine a scenario where Mr Davis and Allen may have had words over the situation that led to bad blood between them. And to his credit (again, not saying this rumor was necessarily true but speculating), whatever it was, Mr Davis did not air the dirty laundry.
Without us knowing, I lean on the side of giving Mr Davis benefit of the doubt that there may have been good reason for the rift and the silence surrounding it.
It is interesting to ponder. Al was renowned as a player's owner, who treated those who were Raiders well, even after their career had finished. However when you look at the cases of Marcus Allen and Rich Gannon, it is perplexing as to know what happened there. I would be on the side of Davis and believe that there would have to have been something significant which happened to sour the relationship.

Practice?
Knowing that he would not run into Al probably helped Rich.
Hopefully he cold ****ed Herrera if the two ran into each other.
Classy.
