Last year, fifth-round pick T.J. Yates replaced an injured quarterback Matt Leinart and led the Houston Texans to their first playoff game in franchise history. Denarius Moore, also a fifth-round pick, led the Oakland Raiders in touchdown receptions and was second on the team in receiving yards
. Sam Acho, a fourth-round pick, had seven sacks for the Arizona Cardinals.
Juron Criner (6-3, 221), WR, Oakland Raiders, Round 5
Criner’s combination of size, route running, deceptive quickness out of his cuts and the best hands of any receiver in the 2012 Draft helped him jump out OTAs. Moore and Darrius Heyward-Bey are the likely starters in 2012. Sources say Criner, who was selected out of Arizona, excelled and could challenge either Moore or Heyward-Bey if they struggle.
