I guess it was the '06 game that Carr picked-off that pass near the goal line and took it the distance.

Those Sunday "early" games start at 7 in the morning here in Paradise. Most Sports Bars however, do open early and serve booze and breakfast. I was at Boardriders, a sports bar on the otherside of the Island that morning.

My son, his friend and I are in the bar enjoying our breakfast getting ready for the game. We had seats up front and center, the bar packed with rabid Raiders and Steelers fans. As the Steelers with egg-omelets started to chow down, my son would ask each and everyone of them, "How does that terrible towel taste?"

When Carr picks that pass off, I immediately recognize that he has the chance to go the distance, so I rise out of my chair, quickly followed by my son and the rest of the Raiders in that bar - "Go! ... GO! ... GO!!!" we shouted as the Steelers were stunned into silence.

Dang hair standing on my neck as I reflect on that moment now. Hard to fathom it was 6-years ago. Life is short.

I too remember that like it was yesterday! Didn't we pick Ben 5 times or so?

My memory says 4 but it may have been 5. Nnamdi and Carr picked him off for a TD. Fab got one and Kirk got one. Can't think of a 5th if there was one.

I have great respect for that man. That (expletive) runs hard, I mean harder than anybody I've ever seen

That was one game I can say was literally won by the defense. They scored all the points. What a dismal season, but I do remember that the Steelers were the defending SV champs.
