Throwback Thursday - Kaufman Rushes for 227 Yards

For this week’s Throwback Thursday, we take a look at RB Napoleon Kaufman’s record-setting day against the Denver Broncos on October 19, 1997. Kaufman broke Bo Jackson’s previous single-game rushing record (221) with 227 yards.

Thanks. Isn't it amazing that one NFL team can have two running backs named Napoleon?

And I haven't seen a little guy with the name of Napoleon run all over the place since that dude in the 1800's did the same thing with Europe. And the pants were just as tight.

The precious Joe Bugel days...great day by Kaufman,I think Terrell Davis ran for huge yards too(no surprise)

Too bad Kaufman retired, would have been great having him in the backfield a few more years.

I was at that game in 97, a friend of mine that worked in the satcom trailer said he could get me and my younger brother in for free, otherwise I would have bought tickets, turns out he was full of **** as usual, although we did get to watch the game from every angle with no comercials from the satcom trailer. nap was a beast that day, bronco's got stomped and Ellway was man handled on that day, good old Nap.
