A first for Chris Berman in Oakland

Ugh, this going to hurt - not only will the Raiders likely lose, but then, to add salt to the wound, I will have to listen to Berman's colorful commentary. I would like to believe that the Raiders have a good chance of winning, but Knapp, along with a first year HC who was a first heard DC last season, does not inspire a lot of confidence. However, if the Raiders do win decisively, it will be one heck of a surprise - and it would likely bode well for the rest of the season. In the end, this game will likely be a good barometer for the rest of the season, but it could be very painful - especially with Bernan.

The question is whether our offense is so much better against their D, than their offense against our D. I expect our offense to be better, but with Knapp I cannot be sure that the offense will be better - if at all.

I like berman but isn't he more of a chargers homer? I have seen him plenty of times praising the chargers and saying they are favorites to win the division for the past couple years. I mean I know most people say the same thing but I think he actually really likes the chargers as a whole.

For all who remember this in 2010!!

I think this game was one of our few great moments of our last nine years of bad seasons and let downs. I have 3 bronco fans at work, whenever they start talking smack, I just say 59 to 14 and they shut up and start playing down the rivalry. I decided after we beat them 59 to 14 not to rub it in at the time, for two reasons, one, two of the three are decent people for bronco fans, the third wasnt working for us back then( and he,s a bronco niner fan, a double douche bag and his pesonality truly reflects it ), 2nd it was just to devastating of a loss, coming from such a hated rival, I thought how I would probably feel and even though they most likly would have rubbed it in on me, I thought Id show some mercy and some raider fan class and just kind of left it alone, until later when thier pain faded and they started talking smack about Tebow and such last year, like I said , all I had to say was 59 to 14. Ohh and I think Berman is alright, he has prersonality and seems to like the Raiders, beats the other 90% of comentaters that seem to hate us and spew bull**** and what not most of the time, it gets old.
