TBH...I feel we can every game! I know thats not going to happen, but every Sunday I have the same feeling regardless who we are playing. I have my realistic expectations...low or high, but all that goes out the window on Sundays! Go Raiders!
The way I figure it there will be an adjustment period in the 1st part of the season as players & systems meld into live action action against the likes of Pittsburg, etc.. Should be polished up a bit after that. But then we travel to Baltimore, face Brees with our young CB's, go to Cincy & then have an AFCW run. I'm willing to cut Reggie & the boys a break this first year.
Fans should root for the team the way they want to, having expectations is fine, don't want to get your hopes up thats fine too.
I certainly don't need another Raider fan telling me whats important for him should be important for me, ill get my hopes up and expect a 10-6 playoff team if i want to.
the difference between this year and last with Hue is that the offense did not change as Hue was the OC the year before and Al was the defacto DC so last year was not that much of a change. This year from the top of the organization to the water boys it is new. New defense and offense, so there is going to be an adjustment. Hopefully, they can prepare well and use the pre-season to get most of the kinks out but it will be an adjustment. I am not sure about a win total, but we should be competitive and hopefully stay in the hunt until they get a few games under their belt and start to get more comfortable on the field with the changes. Comparing last year to this year is apples and oranges in my opinion.
Props to OP for having money and-or game.........
ok theres like 2 ppl on here that are saying im using the raiderette to predict the game lol for one shes been a fan of the raiders for 13 years and knows more about football than most ppl and 2nd the referencing wasnt to say oh cuz shes a raiderette she knows everything I was just saying someone apart of the team even agrees and that was such a small part about my message lol my message was just about enjoying the game and not letting our emotions get the best of us. to everyone else that said good job thanks i appreciate it lol and its game not money, im broke as **** right now
Hmm, could it be that coaching matters - that is the point I have been struggling to make, in part, on numerous threads - there were solid reasons to believe that Haurbaugh, based on his success with Stanford would also succeed in the NFL. So, what reason(s) do you have that Allen can do the same as Harbaugh?
