Lets hope so.His receiving skills are second to none,if he can keep improving on his blocking could become a very special player/weapon.

After four seasons in the league, Reece’s time may have come.
With the departure of Michael Bush to free agency, Reece may play a much larger role in coach Dennis Allen’s offense in 2012.
His No. 1 role likely will be as a lead blocker for running back Darren McFadden, but he’s also been labeled a “matchup nightmare” for defenders as a pass-catcher out of the backfield because of his size and speed.
In 2012, it’s possible that Reece could make a larger impact as a blocker, receiver and big, physical ballcarrier.

Shoot I hope the hell he is.I feel like he went to waste last season. He should defiantly be utilized a lot more in the passing game.He is the best full back in the league if you ask me.

It says reece signed a new deal...... Where have i been? I thought he signed his tender. Didnt know about a new deal. Anyone shine any light on this or does the writer just have his facts messed up?
Just a side note. Marcel paid for some woman's stuff at Walmart today.
He didn't go to waste last year, who do you think enhanced/created hs role and for what offense he was used in a lot of key moments.
When Palmer came in he was trying to get comfortable in the offense a lot of injuries and moving parts during the season., but I dont have to say more on that its common football sense.
Reece is the best receiving fullback in the league, and the most versatile there are other FBs who are sledgehammer blockers though.

Why hasn't he been tried as a TE yet? We have 3 FB's on the roster right now. My guess has always been that management is trying to avoid paying him TE money.
I think there's a good chance you will see a lot of Reece at TE this year. If we were smart, we'd use him as a FB, TE and RB. He is our most reliable big target. My guess is if we don't use him this way and offer him a good contract, a team will cough up some dough to get him. It's hard to believe Reece will remain a secret after this year if he keeps doing what he's doing.
why would you put reece at TE? thats not a mismatch
how is reece against a safety a mismatch?
think about that for a second
his best role is at FB
Gonna agree with Noclaps here. Obviously, he can be put at many positions. Hell, anything but OL and QB would be plausible. It just so happens that he makes a better matchup at FB. I don't think he is quite big enough for TE, and wouldn't be able to hold a DE for long, as blocking is his main weakness at FB anyway. However, he is just good enough at blocking to be a FB, and one hell of a matchup nightmare for opposing Defenses because a LB can't adequately cover him. Put an extra DB in, and the pass rush suffers. Leave a LB on him, and he is open. Whereas at TE he would have a safety on him and be asked to block DE's more than he should be.
I like Reece at FB, and love it when he comes out of the backfield to line up as a WR. Hope to see more plays dedicated to him this year.
I hate this dead news month. All this stuff is really pretty old news someone just repackaged to make it some new developments. 1 month to go until camp.![]()
