im starting to think branch will be playing on his tag this year..i was hoping they would get a deal done but like others have stated it feels like maybe he was expecting an Al Davis type contract...he must be looking around like "hey all these guys got mega deals i want to get paid too"..

This would really round out our offense... the only concern I have on the offensive side of the ball is the health of our RBs, and adding one more proven guy to the stable of 'backs would be great insurance for DMC.

A RT who can remember the snap count would help.

According to Bleacher Report the Raiders have approx. 1.34 million left in cap space with Bergstrom and Criner yet to be signed.
Bergstrom will get a first year allotment of $516.504.
Criner will get a first year allotment of $426.140.

This will leave a little less that $500K to sign Benson.
MacKenzie will have to pull a rabbit out of his hat to get this done.

I would be, if I didn't still have major MLB concerns, major OLB depth concerns and Slight Backup QB concerns with our backups being a 7 year failure, a TE insisting he's a QB and an IVY League kid.
