The entire defense should improve just from the fact that we sh!t canned our out dated 70's defense. I'd like to see how these same defensive players will do in a up to date defense.

I know exactly what's going to happen. Things are going to finally start to click for McClain and he is going to look like the second coming of Ray Lewis and then the court is going to find him guilty and we're going to lose a stud. I'm basing this off nothing except typical Raider luck.

Just to make sure we name all the starters, I'll say Bartell and Spencer. Improved play from the front 7 = int's.

Well, I know a lot of people like to bitch, but what I read on sites like PFF from guys who look at every single play, TK has been a very highly rated DT. So I'm not sure him playing at a high level will be much of a surprise, but yeah, I expect to see him excel this year for sure.

    Ron Bartell.

The guy has good pedigree, and has been stuck for his career with a pretty ordinary Rams defense. So long as he has fully recoverd from his injuries from 2011, I expect Bartell to be the biggest suprise for fans and be a leader in the secondary. He may not get great stats but he will elevate the play of those around him.

I say the guys wearing palindromic number's on their jersey's have the most potential to do so.

I am also voting Curry. Had superstar written all over him coming out of college. May be a bit slow at learning assignments which is where new coaching staff comes in. He also has a great work ethic and something to prove. Wheeler is a good under the radar choice for making big contributions

Houston and McClain. Maybe Huff will improve and live up to his draft status too but I don't see it happening. Wouldn't be sad to see him replaced in the near future (a year or two).

Personally.. i feel like Houston, ShoNasty, McClain, Curry all have ceilings they have not played to yet.

I think McClain can make the biggest most noticable jump in play. I think Houston and ShoNasty will dominate the edges forcing everything to our LBs.

Wheeler and Bartell will play solid for us. Im excited for those 3 new players.

    My sleeper pro-bowler is Huff
