10 Brands That Will Disappear in 2013 - Yahoo! Finance
As determined by 24/7 Wall St.8. The Oakland Raiders
The Raiders will play in the NFL next year. They just will not play in Oakland. The team, founded in 1960, was one of the original members of the AFL and joined the NFL when the leagues merged in 1970. The Raiders won the Super Bowl in 1976, 1980 and 1983. The team’s track record has been poor over the past decade. The Raiders left Oakland once before, when the franchise worked out a better stadium deal in Los Angeles from 1983 to 1994. Oakland lured the team back with an agreement to add $220 million in improvements to the stadium where the team would play. One reason the team will leave Oakland again is the financial plans of the new owners. Al Davis had controlling ownership of the team from the 1960s until he died last year. His heirs and several smaller shareholders now control the team. Current team managing owner Mike Davis already has said he may move the Raiders back to LA to get a better stadium deal. The current Oakland stadium contract expires next year. Davis recently told the San Francisco Chronicle, “Yeah, Los Angeles is a possibility. Wherever’s a possibility. We need a stadium.” The Raiders also could move to Santa Clara, where they would share a stadium with the San Francisco 49ers, much as the New York Jets and Giants do.
"mike Davis" huh? Lol.
Lol two things he called him Mike Davis, and after saying LA is a possiblity Mark Davis said he doesn't want to go to LA because his mom wants a stadium in Oakland. Dublin is second choice. That writer is what I refer to as BUSTED.
I can still see the Mike Davis int in the ice bowl vs Cleveland. One of the greatest plays ever in Raider history. But when did he buy the team??

"Mike" Davis has already said he would move the team back to LA."
Um no he hasn't. Just another blabber mouth article. These people know squat about the Raiders.
I read this yesterday, thought it was crap, and kept on moving
Yahoo has the most ****ing stupidest dumb**** crock of **** writers. C'mon they post an article on how to retire a millionaire: start with 10,000 dollars at 25. Yeah who has 10 grand up front to save at 25 years of age.
I guess these un-educated morons are not aware of the following:
1. The NFL currently does not support the AEG (Farmers Field in downtown L.A.) or the Majestic Realty (Los Angeles Football Stadium in City of Industry) proposals. They have serious problems with the business structures both deals. 2. Not to mention that the City of Los Angeles still has not resolved all of the issues with the E.I.R for the AEG AEG deal. 3. AEG and Majestic Realty had both approached Al Davis in 2011, and have approached Mark Davis since, and the Raiders have rebuffed any overtures made by both entities, as Mr. Davis has no intention of selling any of his shares (or that of the various minority stake holders) to AEG or Majsetic Realty.
What the media morons don't want to let you know is the fact that the financing is already in place for a new Raiders facility in Oakland. That IS NOT the problem. What I can say, is that the Raiders want to see the corporate sponsorship opportunities from within the City of Oakland, as well as from Contra Costa county (San Ramon, Danville, Walnut Creek, etc.) and the Tri-Valley (Dublin, Pleasanton, Livermore). The Raiders having a new facility in Oakland is a lot more of a reality than you think. I can’t speak on the situations with the A’s or Warriors, but I can say that the City of Oakland is in a very positive position when it comes to retaining the Raiders long-term.
... mosquitos refuse to bite Mike Davis out of respect.
... Sasquash takes pictures of Mike Davis.
