Absolutely. Darren Mcfadden can be as good as any RB in the nfl overall if he could stay healthy. Problem is, thats the question.....can he?
He has shown that he is as good as anyone.....but one component of being great.....is being able to showcase it often....cant do that if you cant get on the field....

If he comes back 100% and is healthy, I think he will tear up the league. Despite or because of Knapp.
I won't believe he comes back 100% from that injury until I see it with my own eyes though. This is a major turn of events for the team.
yep, health is the question. There is zero doubt in my mind that he can be the best running back in the league, if healthy.
Can he? Yes
Will he? If he's healthy and plays in all 16 games
If he can stay on the field the sky is the limit.![]()

I don't remember Allen being hurt. May have happened but I don't remember it.
Can McFadden? Sure. Gotta stay healthy. Can't have that season watching from the sidelines.

Even if he doesn't, I think our O will be top 10 if not top 5. We have all the parts and it sounds like Goodson and Jones are real threats too. I'm very excited about the reports regarding Schmitt. He could even start over Reece, which opens up some interesting options (Reece in the slot at times?). Still have a camp to go through before these decisions are made and we have a better feel for where we stand, but there's every reason to be excited about our offense at this point.
With McFadden healthy, our O can probably even overcome our deficiencies on defense and take us to the playoffs.
IMHO.

Ayso is a .sig genius!!
I don't want to be a Debbie Downer but his upright, often violent running style and chicken leg calves have proven unfit for full time NFL duty so far. I don't see that ever changing for him unfortunately. I'm sure I speak for most fans that feel sick to their stomachs the moment the see him in even minor discomfort after a run. It's always in the back of our minds that his next run may be his last of the season.
