Leinart, having the "hunger of a rookie" that he didn't display when he was a rookie.
What's up everyone here are some tweets from todays OTA's incase your interested.
Denarius Moore makes appearance on practice field. Headed back inside to continue rehab on right hamstring.
Denarius Moore not practicing today, walking with limp
Jacoby Ford, Brandon Underwood,Chaz Powell fielding kickoffs
Al Saunders has been spending most of his time with the tight ends
WR Rod Streater working with No. 1 offense
Murphy and Ford are running with the first team now
Wisniewski, Tollefson and Curry not practicing, though they are in uniform and on the field.
Mike Mitchell, Manase Tonga and Travis Ivey not on the field. All are injured.
Denarius Moore back on the field, watching from a distance. Take that as an encouraging sign.
Drills being run at super-slow motion making sure schemes run right
Ausberry still running second team but I still expect that to change before the season.
For all hype surrounding Criner, it’s my guy Rod Streater getting first-team reps at WR along with Heyward-Bey and Ford
Streater is filling in for Denarius with first team offense
Both Streater and Criner have looked very good. Criner working with 2’s today. Should be good battle with Murphy and maybe even McGee at TC
No diggety no doubt, Matt Leinart throws the best ball in @Raiders minicamp
The more I see Matt Leinart throw, the more impressed I am. Easy to make a case for him throwing best ball.
Murphy comes back and scoops tough catch on sideline.
Rookie Miles Burris getting time in place of injured Aaron Curry on starting defense
Spencer and Bartell still working with first-team defense at cornerback
Gordon leaks out and is wide open for 60 yd TD.
Leinart threads one to David Ausberry despite tight, double coverage.
Leinart finds Ausberry on sideline, beating Giordano
Offense is going to make big plays in scrimmages when defense told to back down. Gordon, Ford and Jones with big gainers thus far.
Pryor is fast when he tucks it. Unfortunately he would have been sacked about three times while holding the ball too long.
More to come
McFadden fumbles it but it bounces back to him.
Myers with nice grab on a crossing route.
Gordon with another nice catch. This time with Tyvon covering
Goethel working at outside linebacker with Stupar in middle
Each tight end has made a nice catch. Another good training camp battle. They have to beat out each other plus hold off waiver-wire pickups
Darren McFadden. Still pretty freakin’ good. As he and the DL and CBs go, so go the @Raiders in 2012
defense learning schemes and can’t be aggressive because of the no-contact rules
A lot of muffed punts. Chaz Powell has another.
Pryor floats long ball, McCann breaks it up down field
Then Carson and Murphy hook up on same route opposite side
DHB twice sells comeback routes and Carson has it in air before he turns around. Two timing completions.
Eddie McGee not having good day. Tips pass intercepted by McClain.
Few plays after Carson and DHB miscommunicate on route, DHB drops one on crossing route.
Meanwhile Criner has another smooth catch in stride from Leinart
Streater & LB Burnett have been standouts
Burnett in backfield again to stuff run for a loss (if he were allowed to tackle)
Eddie McGee walking into locker room with trainer. Not sure how he got hurt. Doesn't look like anything serious.
Huff draped all over Ausberry and he still comes up with catch.
Goodson looks good as receiver out of the backfield. And very fast
Burnett in backfield again. He's like Mr Chau up in here (Anyone?)
Brandon Craswell with catch as three horns sound. Practice over.
Michael Huff strips DHB on short catch

Yea there was a lot of talk about Leinert being a changed person in Houston and really impressing so hopefully he can turn his career around here if given the chance. But hopefully he doesnt get that chance this year because I want to see Palmer stay healthy and tear it up this year (my hopes, not my prediction).
WR Rod Streater working with No. 1 offense
And Leinart, cool....
And a WR already hurt, lol.. Raider reality

Thanks for the Tweets.
Leinart looking good it a great thing considering Pryor seems no where near ready to be the #2 guy. To hear the WR are looking good. Hate the knick knack injuries but as long as they are not serious it is too early to press too hard. Looks like DA and crew are making sure these guys know where to be on every play. I am getting excited.

I know it's ridiculous, but after reading those tweets, and visualising them in my head, it makes me feel like we have a championship team, with depth at the QB position too!![]()
Love what im hearing about streater, allen said they thought about taking him in the 6th rd., said he's a explosive WR
Also McClain had a interceptiom from palmer.
The best hands in camp continue to be those of Juron Criner, David Ausberry, and Streater.
Darrius Heyward-Bey had an up and down day. He started out making several nice comeback completions on timing routes from Palmer. Then later he and Palmer had a miscommunication on a route and a few plays later he dropped a pass right in his hands on a crossing route.
The best defense of the day was played by Kaelin Burnett. He was in the backfield all day. He had a would be sack on Terrelle Pryor and was in had the running back dead to rights for a loss on several occasions as well. It is nice to see some play from the defense. Granted he is rushing against the third team offensive line but if he keeps this up, he could get a shot at the second team at some point.
Michael Huff stripped DHB for fumble on a short catch and Bryan McCann caught up to a floating Terrelle Pryor long ball to knock it down. Those were the only two plays by the defensive backfield on the day.
Travis Ivey suffered a concussion working out, when a weight bar hit him on the head.
No spotters?
I thought Cables slo-mo stuff wasn't a real productive use of training camp time. Good to see DA hopefully get it out of the way in minicamp. I'm not looking for them to start the ridiculous nut cracker drill that Singletary used that got Patrick Willis injured. But, get on with it. Contact is already limited by cortract, I'd use that as a guideline.
