McFadden hasn't made anyone eat crow. His total number of playoff games played is zero.

Ha ha yeah I know...I was just messing around. I don't get to hell bent on spring/summer practices. It was just funny that, that morning an article came out praising McClain about how fast and athletic he was foe his size...then a few hours later...it was said he got smoked lol. I think he'll be just fine!!!

No disrespect on McClain...but we've all heard of his "potential" just like other young Raiders come and gone. He will be a plug in MLB IMHO. If he was a star, I think we woulda seen it on the field the last couple years...

I have pretty low expectations for him this season. Maybe he will pleasantly surpise us all...I'm sure he's worked hard n all that. It is what it is. Tough to watch that position play subpar for so long...

Janikowski and Lechler actually have each played in 6 playoff games and 1 super bowl.

he'll emerge as a great linebacker this season bc he's not stuck in a one-dimensional defense that exposes

no more silly situations where a bunch formation picks both our defenders off right at the snap.

and Seymour has 3 Super Bowl rings from before he got here... and our record since he got here is 2 games under .500.

Seymour only needs us to go 2 games over .500 to get his Raider record to .500. All he needs is some help! He can't do it alone!

Man, Your logic makes me think you need to stop eating mushrooms picked fresh from your front lawn.

McFadden's value related to number of playoff appearances, then linked to Richard Seymour's Patriot super bowl rings and last, throw in the Raiders Team record since he arrived?

Look, I can only say this for the Raiders chances this year. The Oakland Colliseum's capacity is 63,026. During the month of September, dusk falls around 7:30 PM however, by early October is nearly 6:45PM!

The tailgating is great, but it's clear that the parking lot has sections that are badly in need of a re-paving...

And if that happens I think they could get some wins.

Time will tell! What I've seen in his first two years is a slow twitch athlete who seldom hustles or chases the play down the field and who'd rather play video games than study the playbook. Possibly he's got his head on straight finally but I don't blame his struggles the last two years on the system per se. While I've been critical of Coach Davis' antiquated defense in his case I believe its been more on the player than the system. Lastly, if he's better this year I believe it will be more because he's gotten his mind right and is finally taking the game seriously.

Wasn't it last offseason where everyone was saying he looked quick and was ready to take it to the next level? Well we saw how that worked out... how about we just wait til he actually plays? he just has way too many question marks on and off the field..
