Man this was one of, if not Thee most disappointed game of 2011 for me...
Our Defense let them score 2 times in the final mins. of the 4th. we got it in a 65yrd FG range for Jano, I thought this is it... seabass is going to break the record, and BOOM, blocked by mega-tron.
I wanted ... wished it at least got off, to see if it had the distance, being blocked was great by lions, but totally sucked for me, and Raider Nation!

I never watch replays of games we lost.

    Never watched the tuck-game again.

Never watched our loss to TB in the SB again.

This game had one of the best moments of the season however, the sack-fumble of Stafford (Kelly?) which Curry picked-up and ran in for a TD, giving us a healthy lead at that point in the game. Of course, no lead was healthy enough last season.

How many times in the last X years have we been on the winning side in one of these f'ing re-broadcasts?

They could have made an hour long TV special about how our D excelled at melting down in the second half of games in 2011, particularly in the 4th quarter with the game on the line. It wasn't a great comeback by Detroit, it was another chokejob by our defense. Anyone who watches this team knew that just because they had 98 yards to go and needed a TD with time running out that they were still in it------and really, they had the advantage because the other two components of our team that qualified as NFL quality were on the sidelines. Furthermore, the D gave up a 90+ yard TD drive in the 4th quarter to KC the following week with time running out; and they gave up a 90+ yard TD drive in the 4th quarter the week after that against San Diego.

It's sad when the head coach would have been better off telling the defense to just go ahead and let them score from 98 yards away on the first play.

If anyone regrets the loss of any defensive player from the 2011 Oakland Raiders defense, watch this game again and be secure in the knowledge that we could have ditched every single one of their asses and not been any worse for the 2012 season.

God that game sucked. kinda the definition of last season for me we get a healthy lead and can't possibly lose then Bres D blows it multiple times on long yard drives. Lions, Bills and Chargers at home last year are the 3 games we should have won but blew in the same way.

Megatron really backed up his name in this one and had his first 100yd game in almost over 2 months and saved his bad season, also Chuck backed up on how he can't call plays for our defense and why he should't be our coordinator, all we needed to do was be in a man prevent and could have stopped that long play from happening that put them in scoring position, and oh yeah stanford routts bone headed PI call made it even easier for the Lions that had no time outs and needed to go 99yd's that was a complete meltdown on our defense and made their offence look unstoppable.

our defense choked that game but......

Had Carson connected with Moore on 4th ans 3 for the TD, Heyward-Bey not fumble after a great catch and run(in the redzone) and Glass Schilens NOT dropped a perfectly thrown pass on 3rd and 3 that could have been easily a TD..........
that game should have been a blow-out with a 17-21 point lead. FACTS

Exactly what I want to do on Father's Day, re-live that horrible sunday game from 6 months ago. I was at that game in the black hole. There was a long quiet ride back to the wife's parents home in Sacramento after that one.

it doesn't matter, the offense did enough at home the defense should of been able hold them to below 20 points, NFL standard, theres no doubt Hue's frustration with the defense flared up to a new level after this game.

I mean no DMC, receivers getting injured, no consistantcy there and then a QB off the couch and thrown into this middle of the season and to put up to 28, and all Im asking you to do on defense is not get dragged up and down the field for 99 yards....we would have had a winning record, come on man, I can see why Hue wanted to take control at least to fire the defensesive staff

For anyone who was in a coma during the 2011 season, watch the 4th quarter of this game, and you'll see why Hue Jackson's best job offer was as assistant special teams coach.

Not sure if i want to watch it either, but just posting what i can Raiders lol
    good or bad!

But the game was good until the had the ball (lions) with 98 yrds to go, then it sucked until the O got them into Janos 65 yrd range, then heart broken when it was blocked.
i would had rather seen it fall short or go left, right, then blocke :doh
