I can make predictions too! I say we go undefeated and win the super bowl, Palmer and McFadden becoming first ballot HOFers in the process! Hey its just as valid as your prediction :P
With so many people making predictions, here is my prediction for the coming season:
- The defense will likely end up being better than the offense (though it may start out the opposite for a bit).
- Palmer will get injured
- McFadden will get injured (ok, not the bravest of predictions)
- Pryor, if given the chance, will do well in Knapp's system (Leinart may end up taking over for Palmer though).
- The Raiders will not finish higher than 3rd in the AFC (though 4th is more likely)
It is going to be a difficult season.
Sadly, this coming season could have easily went in the opposite direction, but this is where the team looks to be headed in the off-season.

We get it: your favorite coach in the League, Hue Jackson, is no longer here in Oakland and calling plays so the offense will crumble.
Thanks for the informative and rock-solid predictions. Do us all a favor and 1) stop posting and 2) follow the Bengals.
Well, that's sure a positive way of looking at things....

If we kept HUe ...
He wouldn't have straightened out the finances, would have gone "all in" to win now, might have got us a playoff game or two over the next two years. Then it would all have collapsed on us financially and talent wise as old guys got real old and we were cash strapped and couldn't resign our good young players. Hue walks away, blaming Mark Davis for being stupid with the money.
I'll take McKenzie and wait 5 years to make a real play for the SB.
OP, just go out an get a custom Bengal jersey, Jackson as the name 00 as the number LOL.
Seriously, is Hue Jackson your brother or something?
We lost a HC who was barely qualified as an OC and now we are doomed.Give it a rest and go cuddle with your Hue doll some more. You are more than entitled to your opinion but how many time do you feel the need to repeat it?
Dmacs chances of getting hurt are probably about 65% for a season ending injury. It almost goes without saying he'll miss a couple games. (nature of the position/injury history)
Palmer I'd give about a 40% chance for a season ending injury...He'll might miss a game or two also.
In Palmers case my percentage is based on the nature of the position/ Knapp being conservative/Palmers game/our O-line (which is good)
With one or both of them hurt we should still have a reasonable chance to win. We have some depth on Offense.
Injuries on the defensive side of the ball will be more devastating due to the lack of depth at all positons
Injuries are inevitable and will hurt our W-L record but more so from the defensive side of the ball-IMO.
All that said, which is reality not pessimism! I like the overall direction the team is going....If Knapp can't get it going,l I'm sure Dennis and Reggie will find someone else! This is no longer an organization that is dogmatic about Offensive or defensive systems....If one thing isn't working, you try something else...This team will have growing pains, but I see no reason we can't have a winning season.
Lol @ defense being better than O...pass whatever bong your smoking.
First off I don't think CP3 is gonna get injured. However I bet DMC gets injured at somepoint but I have bigger concerns on the D side.
if the defense is better than the offense.....its going to be a very long season
