Interesting
Mathias Kiwanuka thought he might help Osi Umenyiora by telling the NFL his teammate needs to get his money. Meanwhile the New York Giants have yet to field trade offers. The Oakland Raiders have Darren McFadden, but if they want the AFC West crown they'll need help on defense.

No way. Osi is going to be 31 when the season starts. Still wouldn't be worth it if Osi was 25
Hell no!!!!!... Whoever said that should slap themselves for even thinking that...lol
(no offense to anyone that's just my opinion)
I don't think they're implying we trade McFadden, I think it's more like, 'they have the offensive superstar, but still need help on D'
I dont know if the article was saying we should trade McFadden. I think it is just stating that all we really have is McFadden and that if we want to win improving the defense is probably the most important.
No way trade run DMC, for a 30 Year old. what trade value do we have? Draft picks? straight up for McClain ?

If we make a move for Osi, DMC won't be involved. Usually draft picks is what the compensation for a player like him and we all know RM wants draft picks for the future unlike Al Davis/Hue Jackson. One of them would make a more like this, but keeping our draft picks consistently for the future will lead to success.
No to Osi...
Thanks for clearing that up on McFadden.
I couldn't really understand exactly what this Guy was saying. LoL
Imagine the d line though?
A couple 3rds would work, but not sure we have the $$?

"Umenyiora is seeking an extension in the neighborhood of the ones signed by Philadelphia's Trent Cole and Indianapolis' Robert Mathis. Cole signed a four-year extension worth $48.525 million, including $15 million guaranteed. Mathis' new four-year extension is worth $36 million, with $17 million guaranteed."

Haha
The article isn't stating McFadden for Osi... its pointing out that we have a superstar on offense and are lacking one on defense. Its an intriguing thought, although we cant afford him nor do I see our front office making this kind of play. With that being said on paper I don't see anyone on our roster capable of 10+ sacks. But then again I don't really have a good grasp on what our defensive scheme is going to look like.
