He has plenty left in the tank and will be a driving force behind the development of our young wide outs this year.
I understand where your coming from RB, I don't have any problems with CP as our QB but I do think we paid too much for him but that's water under the bridge now. I would not put him up there with Brady, Brees and Manning but he is a good enough QB to get the job done IMHO.

He's not at that level, at all. I was just citing QBs that everyone can agree are still very much in their prime who are the same age as CP3. Palmer, at his top form, is about the same level as Philip Rivers; a very solid QB in this generation, but not someone who will be remembered in the distant future except by maybe our fan base if he does something awesome in the next few years. But, we don't need Brady, Brees or Manning. Our offense will be super-potent as long as McFadden can stay healthy and Greg Knapp isn't Chuck B of offense.

    No Claps comes to mind.

However, anybody who saw him play last year and actually paid attention knows thats BS.
please dont put words into my mouth

he has plenty of arm strength

just not enough to regularly force throws into triple coverage (not many QB's do)

palmer was up there in terms of velocity with joe flacco, stafford, cutler, mike vick

cant remember the last time i say palmer throw a flatlined bullet that looked like it was going to split the webbing of the fingers of his receivers.

You watch too much espn and not enough Raider football. DHB had right at 1,000 yards in 2011, he made HUGE plays for us (see 70 yarder VS KC in overtime) he consistently moved the chains for us, made great sideline catches, he has been better every year so far and works his a$$ off. Not sure what the he!! you are talking about.

That's not what you have been peddling.

You said everything I said you did.

If velocity isn't a problem then how does your post make sense?

You cited arm strength as the reason for the INT's.

    Force into triple coverage?

You never want your QB doing that......EVER!

Your post does not make sense given the previous claims you have made.

So he has the arm strength to force it in to double coverage but not triple?

    Huh?

I don't think we should question no claps. I read somewhere he should be coaching in the NFL.

DHB in 2011 = a lack of other options.

I had the same reaction to his comment but decided to blow it off. Thanks for putting it into perspective bro.

Where was DHB in the Dolphin game? Where was DHB in the patriot game? Where was DHB in the Packer game?

Too many games against tough opponents where DHB dissappears. C-wood made DHB his female dog when we played in green bay. DHB looked shook lining up across from him.

While I am nowhere near as confident in Carson as you....I applaud your reconsidering the use of the word hater, and more so the mere fact that your willing to consider the possibility that your wrong about something....I wish everybody here was like that. This mentality makes this a better forum.......

A few years ago I loosely used the term "hater" in a thread about Russell, whom I used to support. In my thread title it stated some thing like "haters need not apply"....I got hammered six ways to Sunday and by some of my favorite posters.. Those people didn't like being called haters, which in reality was an inaccurate description...
Those of us whom aren't real high on Palmer feel the same way.....He performs I'll join the cheering squad...

Infact, it was announced weeks ago that the raiders were "giving him another chance" mind you, this was all while we were shopping for a veteran QB

Sorry hater, your dream of somehow being right for a change will have to wait

What u guys fail to remember is this: the raiders always had the intention to bring a veteran qb in. The fact its campbell and not mcnabb means absolutely nothing

Put it in that perspective and then u will see why I'm telling you he isn't going anywhere

    lol.

Come on Joe that was a sad day for Clappy, you know when the Raiders released Russell. He poured his heart and soul into supporting Russell, especially under the name finalstageboss. He found closure when Campbell signed on, but Hue ripped his heart out by trading for Palmer and ending Campbells starting career. Now the only light at the end of the tunnel is Pryor eventually taking over.
