Matt Giordano played for New Orleans in 2010, at the height of the Saints' purported Bountygate episode. And the Raiders safety seemed genuinely taken aback at the severity of the penalties levied against his former team in the wake of the scandal.

"I was surprised," Giordano said Tuesday, following Oakland's OTA practice. "In all my years of football, ever since elementary school all the way up, you get good things (when) you make a good play. I remember my dad used to take me out to ice cream for playing good."
