Practice?

There were rumors floating around last season about Goethel taking the MIKE spot from McClain, but I don't remember if they were on blog posts or from contributors to this site. What I do remember is someone quoting an inside source to the effect of Goethel being better at shedding blocks and McClain being better suited outside.
But, I am pretty sure Goethel was getting reps mostly at WILL before destroying his knee. Either way, I am not putting any stock in a guy who has been injured most of the past two seasons.
I wish him the best, and we will see what TC yields.
Do not wait to strike till the iron is hot; but make it hot by striking.

Wheeler should start at OLB in place of Wimbley, Rolando in the middle and Curry on the other side. Stupar is a 7th rd rook, Miles Burris should get in before him. Right now a healthy Goethel sould be the next man up in the middle
Who is K Burnett?
Blackstock and Groves are UFA. I don't expect them to resign w/us.
Thanks for clarification. However, we should be more exact (I mean look how we chew up and digest each position on the Raider roster): Bigfoot is in the northwest US, mostly in the mountains of Northern California and Southern Oregon (the Klamath Mountains). Sighting in Idaho and further points east are made up.

There is just so much competition that no one has a spot secured at Lb. IF You watch Philip wheeler highlight tape a lot of the time he was lined up at Mlb. He can play there but will he up to the coaches where he played. Kaelin Burkett is undrafted Fa (The brother of kevin) Who with Mario Kurn, has a shot6 o0f winning a lb job with the raiders. Little exerpt on Burkett.
Burnett (6-4, 238) didn’t become a starter at Nevada until his senior year and had to overcome a major hip injury in the spring just to get on the field at all.
In 13 games as a starter in 2011, he recorded 51 tackles, eight tackles for loss and five sacks.
Burnett was not invited to the combine, but turned some heads at Nevada’s Pro Day March 21 when he ran the 40-yard dash in 4.55 seconds.
That has some teams thinking Burnett can stand up and play outside linebacker as well as be a defensive end in the NFL.
“I’m just showing teams my versatility in that I can stand up and play either a Sam or weak-side linebacker,” he said.
Kaelin’s brother, Kevin, is currently a linebacker for the Dolphins.
Btw Philip Wheeler not guaranteed a starting job. The Lb corp in 4-3 could be Wlb Miles Burris Mlb R Mcclain and Sslb A Curry
