I see so many people complain and rant about what others think of our team. So my question is...

What's wrong with being the underdog??? The unassuming team that the talking sports heads give no credit too???

I'm glad we are under the radar. Let teams think the can go right through us. Let it be a surprise when we don't.

Also, be honest with your selves. What did you really expect this off season?

Personally, I'd much rather have the rest of the NFL world predict that the Raiders will suck, it's much better than the opposite. After all, how many times have people given the Lombardi to San Diego before the season began? And my expectations? I really don't have any as I could easily see it going either way. The fact though that the Raiders had so many issues to address makes me think that the season may not go as some here hope.

I agree with the OP about the under dog thing....nothing better than being underestimated..
As for being honest about things.....Were all processing thoughts here, some ideas more accurate and established than others. I change my mind a lot, and get corrected from time to time. It's discussion, opinion and fact...
No need being too offended by one fans opinion, because there plenty who will agree with you as well.
As for the facts of this off season, much of it is still to be revealed...

Couldn't agree more. Every year, there's a team that surprises the rest of the NFL and I have been hoping these last couple years the Raiders would do this. I was beginning to feel that everyone was starting to realize we are creeping on the scene, but if everyone wants to continue to doubt us I love that because I want to be the underdogs.
