maybe we can find something bettter in the UDFA ( like sterling mooore......)

Practice?
I have no problems with the signing. People can criticize his ability all they want (there's plenty to criticize), but you need to look at the whole picture. This also includes realizing the dude is a backup, we're not asking him to go out there 16 games for us. It's also not like we paid a lot for Giordano either, dudes getting the league minimum. At the very least, it helps maintain a good environment in the locker room.
Negatives:
Not the greatest at covering or tackling.
Positives:
Great attitude
Great work ethic
Tons of heart
Nose for the ball
You know it is slow when the resigning of a backup gets this much attention.
Just curious, has anyone else checked the roster on raiders.com?
Giordano is not listed as a safety, but as a DB. Or was this his original position last previously?
Just as an observation the thread is kind of funny in that people seem to be taking both positions within their own argument. I actually think he can tackle and he has underrated speed. He always seemed to be in on a play till the end or right there as support as a guy is forced out of bounds. To stop a play in the open field against RBs or WRs in space is a game saving play, the real culprits are in D-line and then probably Rolando.
